About

Hannah is the creator and host behind Hui慧. She is also a practitioner-researcher and facilitator in the realms of urban and ecological health justice.

Hui慧 is a practice of food, tea and gathering as medicine. Guided by the principles and teachings of traditional Chinese medicines and healing practices, Hannah explores the convergence of Daoism, embodied knowing, seasonal observations and ecological health. Hui慧 considers the body as a porous and emergent process of becoming according to the times and spaces we move through, this collective body is the primary site of knowledge that we let unfold during gatherings.

Hui慧 begins as personal practice, its origins in the meeting of motherhood and grief. Hannah continues the study of her family lineage in Traditional Chinese Medicine and movement healing practice. She is also a student in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy.
